THE LOWDOWN

LEEDS UTD

  • Leeds Utd were comprehensively beaten by league leaders Arsenal last time out, but will see this match as very much more winnable at home against a relegation rival.
  • Max Wober will miss out through injury, as will midfielder Tyler Adams and attacker Wilfried Gnonto, whilst Stuart Dallas and Adam Forshaw also remain on the sidelines.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST

  • Nottingham Forest were unable to hold on to a one-goal lead against Wolves, eventually conceding inside the final ten minutes, meaning they had to settle for a point.
  • Steve Cooper still has a hefty injury list to contend with, but with a number of options available, could yet shuffle his pack for the trip to Elland Road.

THE PREDICTION

Nottingham Forest have struggled all season away from home and when considering that they have lost each of their most recent four away matches in all competitions, Leeds Utd will be eying up success on their own patch. Most worryingly for Forest has been their defensive frailties which has seen them concede nine goals across their last three games on the road. When you factor in the attacking players at Leeds’ disposal, it would be no surprise to see Steve Cooper’s backline struggle once again. With plenty at stake in the relegation fight, a close encounter may be on the cards but Leeds are worth backing to do enough to gain three points.

TIP: LEEDS UTD TO WIN
