THE LOWDOWN

EVERTON

  • Everton came up short in the Merseyside Derby on Monday but Sean Dyche’s side now enter a run of fixtures that could potentially be pivotal to their survival.
  • Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been definitively ruled out of this one so Ellis Simms may get the nod once more, although after struggling against Liverpool it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Dyche opt for Neal Maupay or Demarai Gray.

LEEDS UTD

  • The search for a new manager goes on at Leeds but in the meantime the West Yorkshire club really need points on the board as they are hovering dangerously above the relegation zone.
  • Pascal Struijk has completed his concussion protocols and is available for selection again, while Liam Cooper and Marc Roca have a chance of inclusion.

THE PREDICTION

17th meets 18th here with Everton and Leeds having both suffered a season of struggle so far. The hosts are currently getting used to Sean Dyche’s methods and there have been one or two positive signs so far – namely the win over Arsenal – while Leeds are a little more unsettled right now with their search for a new manager continuing. As is Dyche’s want, he will prioritise defensive stability here and with Leeds missing one or two attacking players through injury, they may well find it tough to break the hosts down. With the Goodison Park faithful behind them, a narrow win for the Toffees could be the order of the day with draw no bet the recommended market.

TIP: EVERTON DRAW NO BET
