BRIGHTON PREVIEW: WINLESS IN FOUR PREMIER LEAGUE GAMES

Brighton's lack of pace in defence was brutally exposed last weekend as they fell to a 4-2 defeat to Chelsea, Cole Palmer scoring all four goals for the Blues in the first half.

It is now just one win in the last five games in all competitions for Fabian Hurzeler's side, and four games without a win in the Premier League. The Seagulls are at least unbeaten at home this season though. picking up five points from their three games at the AMEX.

TOTTENHAM PREVIEW: FIVE WINS IN A ROW

After a difficult start to the campaign, Tottenham have now won their last five games in all competitions, with their last league outing seeing them defeat Man Utd 0-3 at Old Trafford.

They have also made a perfect start to their UEFA Europa League campaign, beating Qarabag and most recently Ferencvaros to make it two wins from two in that competition. Ange Postecoglou's men have scored at least two goals in each of their last five competitive games.

BRIGHTON TEAM NEWS: VAN HECKE AND JOAO PEDRO STILL MISSING BUT MARCH COULD RETURN

Key centre-back Jan Paul van Hecke remains out so Adam Webster could deputise again, but Joel Veltman is at least available following illness so he could slot in at right-back as Hurzeler seeks to tighten things up.

Joao Pedro will be absent once again but James Milner, Brajan Gruda and Solly March, who has been out for almost a year, could be involved. Simon Adingra is a doubt after missing out last weekend.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Verbruggen; Veltman, Webster, Dunk, Estupinan; Hinshelwood, Baleba; Minteh, Rutter, Mitoma; Welbeck

UNAVAILABLE: Van Hecke (Injured), O'Riley (Injured), Joao Pedro (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Milner (Injured), Gruda (Fitness), March (Fitness), Adingra (Injured)

TOTTENHAM TEAM NEWS: SLIM CHANCE FOR SON

Postecoglou stopped short of completely ruling Heung-Min Son out of Sunday's fixture but it doesn't seem likely that the South Korean will make it. Destiny Udogie, meanwhile, has a strong chance of inclusion but is a slight doubt with a thigh complaint.

Attackers Wilson Odobert and Richarlison are still missing, while the Spurs boss could opt for the same XI that defeated Man Utd last week.

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Kulusevski, Bentancur, Maddison; Johnson, Solanke, Werner

UNAVAILABLE: Odobert (Injured), Richarlison (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Udogie (Injured), Son (Injured)

BRIGHTON VS TOTTENHAM PREDICTION

It's been almost six years since Spurs last won six games in a row in all competitions, but that is looking like a distinct possibility given how poor Brighton were at the back last weekend. If they are to put in a similar display on Sunday, then Spurs have the pace to expose them, especially as Van Heck is still missing for the hosts. Hurzeler could be a man under pressure should his side crumble again here, with another Spurs win expected in what has the potential for another high-scoring game.
