BRIGHTON PREVIEW: SEAGULLS READY FOR THE BEACH
Roberto De Zerbi looks set to stay at Brighton and Hove Albion after a few months of being linked with the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Manchester United among others. After finishing sixth last season it has been an underwhelming campaign this time around but there have been mitigating factors.
They have had to play UEFA Europa League football for the first time ever and have also dealt with several injury issues throughout the campaign after a summer in which they once again sold key men. The Seagulls come into this one on the back of another loss as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at the AMEX Stadium in midweek.
MAN UTD PREVIEW: EUROPE COULD STILL BECKON
It is frankly bizarre, and perhaps an indictment on the Premier League, that this Manchester United side could finish as high as seventh on the final day of the campaign if they better Newcastle United’s result with the Magpies going to the Gtech Community Stadium to face Brentford. United have two routes into Europe.
The first route will involve them winning at the AMEX Stadium against Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend, whilst hoping Newcastle drop points, with the second being via winning the FA Cup final against Manchester City next weekend. They pulled off a 3-2 victory over the aforementioned Newcastle at Old Trafford in midweek with a much-improved performance.

In his pre-match press conference, Roberto De Zerbi has said that his captain Lewis Dunk will be unavailable for this weekend but the issue is not expected to be too serious.
The Seagulls have been dealing with issues throughout the campaign and Tariq Lamptey also remains a doubt with the likes of Kaoru Mitoma and Evan Ferguson remaining unavailable.

BRIGHTON VS MAN UTD PREDICTION
At the AMEX Stadium in recent seasons, Brighton have very much had Manchester United’s number. In fact, that can be said for both venues with the Seagulls coming out on top in four of the last five meetings between these two sides. Brighton have not quite been as free flowing to watch this season but will surely want to finish emphatically, whilst Manchester United will be desperate to squeeze themselves into Europe so we may have a fairly entertaining clash down on the south coast.
