THE LOWDOWN
BRENTFORD
Brentford were outclassed by Liverpool last time out but they had won their three Premier Leagues before that defeat, and they are in a relatively comfortable position in the table.
The loss to Liverpool was their fourth defeat in the Premier League season, with Mohamed Salah doing the damage either side of half-time, before Diogo Jota made sure of the points when he struck in the 74th minute.
ARSENAL
After suffering their first defeat of the Premier League campaign when they were undone by Newcastle, Arsenal got their title challenge back on track with a 3-1 victory over Burnley before the international break.
The Gunners were made to work hard for the win over the Clarets though, as the score was tied at 1-1 until just before the hour-mark when William Saliba found the net. Fellow defender Oleksandr Zinchenko then made sure of the points a little over 15 minutes from time, allowing Arsenal to gain ground on Man City at the top of the table.
THE TEAM NEWS

Kane Lewis-Potter has recovered from his own injury and is available, while Mikkel Damsgaard and Josh Dasilva are making good progress and should be available soon.
PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Flekken; Ajer, Mee, Pinnock, Janelt; Onyeka, Norgaard, Jensen; Mbeumo, Maupay, Wissa
UNAVAILABLE: Collins (Injured), Hickey (Injured), Henry (Injured), Dasilva (Fitness), Damsgaard (Fitness), Schade (Injured), Toney (Suspended)
QUESTIONABLE:
ARSENAL
Martin Odegaard is "progressing well" and stands a good chance of being involved, while Ben White will also be considered should he come through training on Friday.
David Raya is ineligible to face his parent club so Aaron Ramsdale will be recalled between the sticks, while Mikel Arteta may play it cautious with Gabriel Jesus despite the striker's recent return from injury.
PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Jorginho, Rice; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli
UNAVAILABLE: Raya (Ineligible), Timber (Injured), Partey (Injured), Vieira (Suspended), Smith Rowe (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE: White (Injured), Odegaard (Injured)
THE PREDICTION
Arsenal have already beaten Brentford at the Gtech this season, when the two sides met in the Carabao Cup in September, and the same outcome here would not be a surprise. Brentford have in fact won just one of the last nine meetings with Arsenal in all competitions, and with Man City and Liverpool facing off against each other this weekend, Mikel Arteta will be impressing upon his team the importance of picking up three points here.
BETTING TIP: ARSENAL TO WIN
