THE PREDICTION
Following a disappointing 2-0 defeat away at Aston Villa over the weekend, Newcastle have now lost their last five matches in all competitions, failing to score in four of those games. Manager Steve Bruce is now coming under huge pressure from the Newcastle fans, with many wanting him removed from his post. Here they face a Leeds side who are coming off the back of a ten-day break, having not featured since their 0-1 loss at home to Brighton. That rest will have allowed boss Marcelo Bielsa to work his side vigorously on the training ground and the Whites should come out of the blocks very fast in this game. Leeds are likely to physically overwhelm a tired Magpies side low on confidence and with key midfielder Kalvin Phillips back for Bielsa’s side following suspension, the visitors are expected to pile on the misery for Newcastle by coming out on top here.
