THE PREDICTION
The Championship commences at the Vitality Stadium with a clash between two sides expected to among the promotion mix come the end of the season. Both Bournemouth and West Brom have new managers in charge and it will be interesting to see who hits the ground running first. Bournemouth under Scott Parker looked strong in their 5-0 thrashing of MK Dons in the first round of the Carabao Cup this past weekend. West Brom are now led by former Barnsley head coach Valerien Ismael, who did an incredible job last season to guide the unfancied Tykes to a playoff place. The Baggies did not concede a single goal in pre-season and with Ismael’s teams renowned for their high fitness levels, breaking them down will prove a tough challenge for the hosts. When combined with the fact that Bournemouth are likely to be without a number of key players here, West Brom may be in a prime position to capitalise. Considering that many of these West Brom players were playing in the Premier League last season, Ismael has a very strong squad to choose from for this level and backing the visitors draw no bet looks a smart play.
