THE PREDICTION
Swansea are currently clinging onto second place in the Championship by virtue of goal difference following their 1-1 draw with Brentford in midweek and cannot afford to slip up if they don’t want to allow either the Bees or third placed Watford to overtake them following the conclusion of this weekend’s matches. Steve Cooper’s side face a tricky challenge though as they travel to Yorkshire to face a Rotherham team fighting for their lives in the bottom three. The Millers have picked up seven points from the last nine available to them, including a resounding 0-3 triumph away at Middlesbrough in midweek. When taking into account that Swansea endured a gruelling battle at home to Brentford which saw Cooper’s men play the final 20 minutes with ten men, it would be a surprise if that encounter didn’t take a significant amount of the Swans physically. With Rotherham full of confidence and likely in better physical shape, they are in a prime position to cause a surprise and the hosts double chance may well prove the shrewd play in this one.
