THE PREDICTION
Neither side meet on Friday night in great spirits after Heerenveen lost 3-1 away at Willem II last Saturday and Twente conceded one extra in a 4-1 rout by AZ. The hosts have just one win from their last five Eredivisie matches and that was against struggling Den Haag, though admittedly the worst of their recent form has come on the road and at home they are unbeaten in five. Twente broke a four-match unbeaten streak in that big loss away at AZ but have lost just three away games all season in the league and to tougher sides than Heerenveen. A draw seems a likely outcome here, like their 0-0 in the reverse of this fixture back in January, especially as Heerenveen are unbeaten in this fixture since 2017.
