CLUB BRUGGE VS ANTWERP PREDICTION
Top-of-the-table Club Brugge made amends for dropped points in their first game in-hand away at Sporting Charleroi last Friday with a thumping 0-4 win away at Gent three days later. Now they face the team in second place, Antwerp, a massive 19 points behind them at this late stage of the Belgian Pro League and with little to do but enjoy their football until the play-offs. Antwerp, however, are part of a trio of Belgian clubs trying to stay in the top four and incoming matches against Anderlecht and Genk look concerning as to their chances. They beat Kortiijk 4-2 last time out to snap a three-match winless run but have been suspect a few times this season and seem to have little chance at a result here. The leaders beat Antwerp 3-1 in the Belgian Cup just over a month ago and similar fare could be instore here with both teams to score in a win for the hosts looking on.
