BRISBANE ROAR VS SYDNEY PREDICTION

Brisbane Roar, as mentioned, began the 2024/25 season with a defeat. The Queenslanders lost by two goals to nil in New Zealand against Auckland FC, who are playing in their first ever season as a franchise. They now face a Sydney side that qualified for the AFC Cup via the A League last year but also lost to Auckland last weekend after beginning their campaign with a victory in the derby against the Western Sydney Wanderers. Sydney remain slight favourites for this one, despite last weekend’s loss.
