We reach the quarter-finals of the MLS is Back Tournament as two teams meet who ground out narrow victories in the round of 16 – Philadelphia Union via a 1-0 victory over New England Revolution and Sporting KC courtesy of a penalty shoot-out win against Vancouver Whitecaps. This looks like a very tight match on paper so it would be no surprise to see this one end up all square after 90 minutes and require penalties.
