THE PREDICTION

Shanghai Shenhua will make their belated bow in the AFC Champions League as they take on Perth Glory. The Australian side were beaten in their opening game all the way back in February as they went down to FC Tokyo but they will be confident of success here after ending the A-League campaign with a spot in the semi-finals. They failed to progress to the final as they were defeated by eventual champions Sydney but with the Shanghai side only managing to finish seventh in the Chinese Super League, coupled with them missing a handful of key players, it is Perth that can provide an upset by winning this one.
