- Jamaica were expected to shut out Panama in their last group game, but the big question was whether they could find the net without the suspended Khadija Shaw within their ranks and whilst it took them 56 minutes to break through, Allyson Swaby got the all-important goal which secured the all-important three points.

- In the battle between the Group F heavyweights, it was France who got the better of Brazil by two goals to one in Brisbane, leaving Pia Sundhage’s side needing victory to go through to the next round with France extremely unlikely to drop points against Panama.
- Having come off the bench in their opening two group games, Sundhage will be under huge pressure to throw 37-year-old Marta in from the start such is their need for three points, with the experience and class of the six-time FIFA World Player of the Year surely a must for Brazil.

If Brazil are to qualify for the knockout stage, they will need to find a way through a Jamaican backline who have excelled across the competition so far. But with experience and emotion behind them and the ultimate trump card in Marta, Brazil boasts all the tools to achieve their goals in this encounter. Having said that, Jamaica have Shaw back in the fold and will surely pose an attacking threat themselves which could well catch Brazil cold. It would be a sensible move to only back Brazil to win via the safety of the draw no bet market.
