TEAM NEWS & PREDICTED LINE-UPS

ARSENAL

• Following the return of Kieran Tierney (£5.4m) and Hector Bellerin (£5.4m), Arsenal have just the two players remaining in the treatment room as Emile Smith Rowe (not in FPL) has joined Alexandre Lacazette (£9.3m). Dinos Mavropanos (£4.4m) has returned to full training.
• Unai Emery made 11 changes for the midweek League Cup tie against Nottingham Forest and therefore the XI who started last weekend will be fresh for the match against Man Utd.
• Arsenal will likely line-up in either a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-4-2 diamond. Daniel Ceballos (£5.7m), Nicolas Pepe (£9.4m) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.0m) are fairly nailed on starters, with the fourth spot likely between Reiss Nelson (£5.4m), Bukayo Saka (£4.5m) and Lucas Torreira (£4.9m) depending on the formation Emery rolls with.

ASTON VILLA

• Dean Smith made nine changes in the Carabao Cup and is likely to recall many of those players to the starting XI for the match against Burnley. John McGinn (£5.7m) and Trezeguet (£5.3m) were the only two to play both matches. The pair were brought off early, so will likely retain their spots in the starting XI this weekend.
• Smith has an almost fully-fit squad to choose from though James Chester (£4.4m) and Henri Lansbury (£4.4m) are set to miss out. Lansbury is continuing to recover from an ankle knock while Chester is building back to full fitness: "James Chester played Monday evening against Manchester United U23s. He's trained with us today as well, so he's back working his way to full fitness. Chessie will need another couple of games before he's ready."
• Jonathan Kodjia (£5.4m) is another who will likely be sidelined despite returning to training this week: “Jonathan Kodjia had his mask fitted on Wednesday so he's back in training, looking like a superhero."

BOURNEMOUTH

• Bournemouth's injury list is starting to lighten following the return of Simon Francis (£4.4m), Lloyd Kelly (£4.4m) and Arnaut Danjuma (£5.8m) to first team action: “Three huge players for us, great to have our captain Simon Francis back after a long time out. “Lloyd made his debut and played well and Arnaut Danjuma had a nice little cameo, which was positive.”
• Other than the trio listed, Howe confirmed that the side are “pretty much as we were” with regards to injuries from last week. This means that David Brooks (£6.3m), Junior Stanislas (£5.9m), Dan Gosling (£4.9m), Adam Smith (£4.4m) and Charlie Daniels (£4.4m) are all still unavailable for the Cherries.
• Ryan Fraser (£7.2m) played a full 90 minutes midweek in the EFL Cup and could well be benched for the match against West Ham. This should mean that Harry Wilson (£6.1m) and Dominic Solanke (£5.4m) are set to continue their run in the starting XI.

BRIGHTON

• Graham Potter is faced with a number of injuries ahead of the trip to Stamford Bridge this weekend. Leandro Trossard (£5.9m), Leon Balogun (£4.4m) and Ezequiel Schelotto (not in FPL) are all yet to fully recover from their respective knocks, while Shane Duffy (£4.9m) sustained a calf injury during the Carabao Cup match against Aston Villa and is expected to be out for a couple of weeks.
• Solly March (£4.9m) is more likely to feature next week against Spurs while Trossard looks highly unlikely to feature: "Trossard is making really good progress. Obviously the game's a bit too soon for him at the weekend."
• On a more positive note, Neal Maupay (£6.0m) has trained this week while Glenn Murray (£5.7m) could make his return after also training with the team: "We protected Glenn Murray but he's fine, he trained today.”
• The manager has praised the versatility of Steven Alzate (£4.5m), who made his first start of the season last weekend: "He's a player with a really good technical level. He can take the ball in lots of ways, as a midfield player, as a pocket player, as a wide player. Makes good decisions when he has the ball and works hard when he hasn't got it. He's a good player."

BURNLEY

• Johann Berg Gudmundsson (£6.0m) is back in contention for Burnley’s weekend match against Aston Villa: “Johann comes back into the thinking. He’s had a good week’s training.” The return of Gudmundsson means Danny Drinkwater (£4.5m) is Dyche’s only injury concern as the manager expects Dwight McNeil (£6.0m) to recover from his knock: “Dwight had a dead leg but I’m hoping and expecting he will be okay, so it’s pretty good at the minute.”
• Dyche has spoken about the possibility of changes being made up front and essentially reaffirmed that Ashley Barnes (£6.6m) and Chris Wood (£6.2m) are his two starters: "Him and Barnesy know they have got the shirts at the minute but they know that J-Rod is training hard and training well, trying to affect games when he is coming on. Vyds has popped up lately, looking sharper."

CHELSEA

• Frank Lampard will still be without Antonio Rudiger (£6.0m) for the weekend match against Leicester: "Toni has got a recurring injury in his groin area. We're trying to find a solution because he's still got some pain. We're hopeful it won't be long but I haven't got an end date for you."
• In better news, Andreas Christensen (£5.0m) will be available for selection: "Andreas should be OK. He has trained with us today, he's missed most of the week. There's still a tiny but of pain but hopefully not a risk. He will be in the squad." With the manager not wanting to take a risk, Kurt Zouma (£4.8m) could partner Fikayo Tomori (£4.5m) at the back.
• Emerson (£5.5m) is another who is out with the left-back expected to be sidelined until after the international break. "Emerson now is going to be the other side of the international break with the hamstring injury. Ruben we can't give a date but he's outside jogging slowly. We'll see how that goes over the next weeks, months."
• After the pair put in stellar performances in midweek, Reece James (£5.0m) and Callum Hudson-Odoi (£5.9m) are set to be included in the squad for a Premier League match for the first time this season.

CRYSTAL PALACE

• After making his return a couple of week ago, Hodgson has fresh concerns over the fitness of central defender Mamadou Sakho (£5.0m): "We have a problem with Mamadou Sakho. He’s feeling a slight strain so we don’t know as yet if he’ll recover in time to play but we’ll know tomorrow morning." If Sakho fails to prove his fitness, then either Martin Kelly (£4.1m) or Scott Dann (£4.4m) could be called upon.
• One who is definitely unavailable for the Eagles is Connor Wickham (£4.5m) despite the forward having returned to training this week: "He's trained this week, back fit again, training all week so that's good. No , he needs to play. The thing about Connor Wickham is he hasn't been able to string a run of games together. He's hardly played at all.
• There are no concerns over the fitness of Wilfred Zaha (£6.8m), with the midfielder having recovered from a knock he suffered against Wolves.

EVERTON

• It’s as you were on the injury front for Everton and Marco Silva with Jean-Philippe Gbamin (£4.9m), Jonas Lossl (£4.4m) and Andre Gomes (£5.3m) the three set to miss out: "Andre is still not working fully with his teammates. Let's hope in the next few days we have some more news about him. But if he's not ready for the next match , for sure after the international break he will be ready."
• Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£5.8m) played and scored twice in the midweek League Cup tie against Sheffield Wednesday and will be pushing for a start over Moise Kean (£6.7m). DCL started the equivalent fixture last season.

LEICESTER

• Brendon Rodgers has said he will give James Maddison (£7.1m) “every chance” to be available for Sunday: "He managed to put weight on his ankle, and he’s been back out on the training pitch." The manager has insisted however that no risks will be taken over his long-term fitness.
• Other than the potential injury to Maddison, Rodgers has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the match against Newcastle. Only midfielder Matty James (£4.4m) remains in the treatment room.
• If Maddison can’t make it, then Rodgers isn’t worried about the quality of player he has to replace the English midfielder: “We’ve got options, like Dennis Praet (£5.3m) and other talented players. We understand it’s going to be a tough game, a different game. Last week, both teams were trying to win. Now we’re going to play a team that will sit in really deep."

LIVERPOOL

• After limping off last weekend with a dead leg, Klopp has allayed any concerns that Sadio Mane (£11.6m) won’t be fit for the weekend as both he and Divock Origi (£5.3m) have trained with the team this week: "Both trained yesterday, Sadio and Div, completely normal, no issues."
• Elsewhere, Alisson (£5.8m) is getting much closer to a return to first team action: "Getting closer and closer. Ali's not in contention for tomorrow, it looks like maybe he can train with the team from Sunday on. Don't know 100% but it's really close."
• In other injury news, Xherdan Shaqiri (£6.3m) is not available for the clash against Sheffield Utd but James Milner (£5.4m) has overcome the knock he sustained against MK Dons midweek: “Shaq is not ready yet, he is doing rehab. "Millie got a knock in his back against MK Dons early in the game. It looked a bit awkward after the game but it should be good.”

MAN CITY

• There was no mention of any injuries during Pep’s presser with the manager simply stating, “I have training this afternoon” in response to the question. Aymeric Laporte (£6.3m), John Stones (£5.4m) and Leroy Sane (£9.3m) are the obvious absentees.
• Bernardo Silva (£7.9m) and David Silva (£7.6m) are the only two players who started both last weekend's Premier League match and the midweek League Cup game. Gabriel Jesus (£9.5m) played 90 minutes midweek, making it likely that Sergio Aguero (£12.2m) will be recalled for the match against Everton.
• After being rested for the Premier League match against Watford, Raheem Sterling (£12.1m) started the Carabao Cup tie against Preston before being replaced after 73 minutes by Riyad Mahrez (£8.5m). Given Bernardo Silva completed the 90 minutes, Sterling could be set to start at the weekend with B. Silva the man to give way.
• Oleksandr Zinchenko (£5.5m) hasn’t played a single minute in each of the last two matches, while Benjamin Mendy (£5.9m) has played 45 minutes against Watford and another 30 against Preston. Pep has spoken in the past about managing Mendy's minutes given the Frenchman’s history of knee problems. The match against Everton could represent a good time for Zinchenko to be called back in from the cold.

MAN UTD

• Man Utd and OGS have a shortage of strikers for the match against Arsenal with both Marcus Rashford (£8.4m) and Anthony Martial (£7.6m) expected to be out for at least this week. On the possibility of Mason Greenwood (£4.4m) being handed his first Premier League start, the boss said “he might be” in the starting XI but also “we can't just throw him in the deep end all of the time. He's proved in those games he's ready for it, now Premier League... I'll have the weekend to think about it!"
• Despite completing 90 minutes midweek, Paul Pogba (£8.4m), is also a doubt for Monday: "He finished the game, 90 minutes, fantastic, but he got a knock to his ankle, which is very swollen. He's in a race, I would guess, for Monday." Phil Jones (£4.8m) is another who is set to miss out.
• In more positive news, Luke Shaw (£5.4m) has returned to training but this Monday will likely come too soon for the left-back: "Luke's back in training today so let's see how he is, he's getting there. We hope to see him before the international break, maybe Monday, I'm not too sure, but maybe."

NEWCASTLE

• Newcastle have been boosted by the return to training of Sean Longstaff (£5.0m) and DeAndre Yedlin (£4.4m) while Andy Carroll (£5.4m) and Allan Saint-Maximin (£5.4m) are pushing for starts after bench appearances in Gameweek 6: "He’s trained now for the past couple of weeks and looks like his fitness is near to where we can consider him.”
• The return of Longstaff is particularly encouraging given Jonjo Shelvey (£5.0m) is set to be out for a couple of weeks with a hamstring injury: “He picked it up in the game last week. I think he’s been hampered with a thigh injury, which – to be fair – has been niggling away at him for a long time.” Matt Ritchie (£5.4m), Dwight Gayle (not in FPL) and Florian Lejeune (£4.5m) are the other injuries at present.

NORWICH

• The injury list at Norwich continues to grow as this week Tim Krul (£4.5m) has been added to the list: “We hope to have Tim back after the international break for the Bournemouth game. He has a muscle strain and he hasn’t been able to run or to be involved in team training.” Alex Tettey (£4.5m), Cristoph Zimmermann (£4.5m), Tim Klose (£4.4m), Mario Vrancic (£6.2m), Tom Trybull (£4.5m) and Onel Hernandez (£5.3m) are all still sidelined.
• Krul's obvious replacement, Ralf Fahrmann (£4.4m), is also a slight doubt: “It’s still a bit doubtful if Ralf Fahrmann will be able to play as well, that will be a late call. We’ve been careful with his injury, and we’ve extended his load from day-to-day. We’ll have to wait to see how his groin reacts and if he’s fine he’ll play tomorrow.”
• There is better new for Max Aarons (£4.4m) though as the right-back has recovered faster than expected from an ankle injury: “The good news is Max Aarons could return earlier than expected. It's down to good work of our physios and good work from him. He will travel with us to Palace.”

SHEFFIELD UTD

• David McGoldrick (£5.5m) is set to miss out this weekend with Chris Wilder describing the forward as “very, very doubtful”. Oliver McBurnie (£5.9m) and Callum Robinson (£5.3m) are the obvious partnership up front, though Lys Mousset (£4.9m) will be pushing for a start following his goal from the bench against Everton.
• Other than McGoldrick, Wilder has no other injury concerns with Billy Sharp (£5.7m) the only additional absentee as he serves the remaining match of his three-game suspension: "They should be alright from last night because nobody made a tackle! I think everybody is absolutely fine apart from David McGoldrick, who's very, very doubtful."

SOUTHAMPTON

• Ralph Hassenhuttl has confirmed that he has no new injury concerns ahead of the weekend trip to Spurs. Moussa Djenepo (£5.4m) is still out injured with a muscular problem, while Alex McCarthy (£4.4m) is also set to be sidelined. “We took a few new pictures of Djenepo’s injury. There isn’t more to say. He’s still out. We don’t know how long but in the moment there is no chance to play for him.
• Danny Ings (£5.9m) will be pushing for inclusion from the start after his brace midweek against Portsmouth. On the forward, Hassenhuttl had this to say: "The most important thing is that he's fit. You can see his quality in every session and today you can feel it gives him a lot of self-confidence, goals are very important for him." If Ings does come into the XI, then Che Adams (£5.7m) could make way after he completed 90 minutes midweek, while Ings was brought off slightly early.

SPURS

• Mauricio Pochettino has no fresh injury concerns ahead Southampton's visit with both Giovano Lo Celso (£7.3m) and Ryan Sessegnon (£5.4m) continuing their respective rehabilitation programs.
• The likes of Harry Kane (£11.0m), Danny Rose (£5.5m), Toby Alderweireld (£5.5m), Jan Vertonghen (£5.3m) and Serge Aurier (£5.0m) didn’t make the squad for the match against Colchester, while Moussa Sissoko (£5.0m), Heung-Min Son (£9.7m) and Christian Eriksen (£8.8m) were all on the bench. All should be recalled to the starting XI this weekend.
• Dele Alli (£8.4m) seems unlikely to start at the weekend having played 90 minutes midweek, as did Lucas Moura (£7.3m). Hugo Lloris (£5.5m) is set to return between the posts after missing out for personal reasons in Gameweek 6.

WATFORD

• Watford will welcome back defender Craig Cathcart (£4.4m) after he returned to training this week. The return of Cathcart means that club captain Troy Deeney (£6.2m) and fellow forward Isaac Success (£4.9m) are the club's only two absentees: "Troy Deeney is out of the squad. The other players, they are ready."
• The manager has spoken about the need for his team to defend from the front but doesn’t believe that they’re having any problems creating chances: “We don’t have problems in attack, we have chances, every single match we have shots and usually we have opportunities to score.” Given his strive towards an improved defence, Cathcart could come back in at centre-half, with Craig Dawson (£4.9m) moving over to right-back. Dimitri Foulquier (£4.0m) would be the man to drop out.

WEST HAM

• Pellegrini has confirmed that Michail Antonio (£6.9m) and Winston Reid (£4.0m) are his only two absentees ahead of the match against Bournemouth. "We continue without Michail Antonio and Winston Reid. The rest of the players are okay.”
• This means Manuel Lanzini (£6.5m) will be available for selection after recovering from a foot injury: "Manuel Lanzini returned to work with the team in the last two or three days. He doesn't have any pain in his feet. He doesn't have any problems, he's in the squad list."
• Arthur Masuaku (£4.5m) returns to the squad after serving out the final game of his suspension. Given the defender started the midweek cup defeat against Oxford, Aaron Cresswell (£4.9m) is looking like the first choice full-back for the time being.

WOLVES

• Nuno Espirito Santo made 10 changes for the midweek League Cup tie as only Matt Doherty (£6.0m) retained his place in the starting line-up. His inclusion and the fact he completed 90 minutes could mean potential rotation at the weekend.
• On the injury front, the manager has said the side “have some small injuries that we have to manage.” He failed to mention any names though.
• Roman Saiss (£4.4m) will be available after he served out his one-match suspension by missing the Carabao Cup match.
