TEAM NEWS & PREDICTED LINE-UPS

ARSENAL

• Unai Emery rung the changes for their midweek Europa League tie with only Joseph Willock (£5.0m) retaining his starting spot from the match against Sheffield Utd. With Willock starting his second match in close succession, Dani Ceballos (£5.5m) could be set for a recall to the starting XI.
• Alexandre Lacazette (£9.3m) started and played 75 minutes in the Europa League victory midweek so it seems unlikely the Frenchman will get the nod at the weekend. As such, Bukayo Saka (£4.5m) looks set to continue in the side.
• On the injury front, only Reiss Nelson (£5.3m) remains unavailable for the boss, with the likes of Kieran Tierney (£5.4m), Hector Bellerin (£5.4m) and Rob Holding (£4.5m) continuing to build their fitness up. Each got a full 90 minutes against Vitoria Guimaraes.

ASTON VILLA

• Dean Smith has declared that, other than Jota (£5.8m), he has a fully-fit squad to choose from ahead of the match against Man City: "We've got a fully-fit squad with the exception of Jota.”
• This means that Jonathan Kodjia (£5.4m), James Chester (£4.3m) and Kortney Hause (£4.5m) are all available in theory, though given the trio played for the u23s midweek, it’s unlikely that they’ll feature: "We've had players who played for the under-23s in midweek, Jonathan Kodjia, James Chester and Kortney Hause. They've all got minutes under their belt."
• Although unbeaten in three matches, a visit to the champions generally causes managers to alter their normal tactical approach in a bid to stifle Man City’s potent attack. This could mean a recall to the side for Douglas Luiz (£4.5m) in order to provide additional defensive cover at the back.

BOURNEMOUTH

• Eddie Howe has reported his side have no new injury concerns ahead of the trip to Watford. The likes of David Brooks (£6.3m), Dan Gosling (£4.9m) and Junior Stanislas (£5.9m) have once again been ruled out of the match: “Junior is further away. He’s not back on the grass yet. Dan Gosling is in a similar position to David Brooks. He’s closer. He is on the grass but not with us so he’s still some time away.”
• One player set to return this week is midfielder Jefferson Lerma (£4.8m). When asked about the player, Howe has said, “Jeff has come through training this week and should be okay.”
• Joshua King (£6.3m) was a surprise absentee for the match against Norwich and given their lethargy in attack, the forward could be in-line for an instant return to the starting XI. Dominic Solanke (£5.4m) could be the one to make way as it was the forward who King replaced last weekend.

BRIGHTON

• Graham Potter has confirmed that the side have no new injury worries as Jose Izquierdo (£5.4m) and Bernardo (£4.3m) remain his two absentees: "Making progress but not ready yet. Probably if I'm putting times on it, it won't be this side of the international break. Hopefully - it depends how they progress - after that."
• One player who will definitely miss out is midfielder Aaron Mooy (£4.8m), who was sent off early against Aston Villa last time out. Potter spoke at length about Leonard Trossard (£5.8m) during his press conference and it would seem Belgian is the most likely to replace Mooy in the starting XI: "He has had a week's training with the team, he's worked really hard with his rehab so he's available but we just need to make sure that he goes at the right time in the right way."
• There was no mention from the boss on the fitness of budget striker Aaron Connolly (£4.6m) who was taken off at half-time in the last match.

BURNLEY

• Sean Dyche has confirmed that Jack Cork (£5.0m) and Ashley Barnes (£6.4m) have “a strong chance” of being fit for the match against Chelsea: “Barnesy is not a million miles away, but it is that tricky decision of do you play and it get worse or do you not and you make sure you have an increased chance for the next one. It is the same with Corky who has this tiny fracture in his shoulder blade but if someone landed on it then it re-fractures and you add another three or four weeks again.”
• Another who is set for a late fitness test is striker Chris Wood (£6.2m), who has a tight hamstring. With doubts over both Wood and Barnes, Jay Rodriguez (£5.7m) looks set to continue up front.
• Two players definitely set to miss out are winger Johann Berg Gudmundsson (£5.9m) and midfielder Danny Drinkwater (£4.4m). While Gudmundsson is still “a while away”, Dyche is hoping Drinkwater “can join in on a day-to-day basis with the first-team squad” next week.

CHELSEA

• Lampard is once again set to be without N’Golo Kante (£5.0m) for the match against Burnley: “N’Golo won’t be ready. He’s training on his own with some physical work because he’s had a few issues. We need to get him right now because he’s been in and out through the season as we all know.”
• In addition to Kante, Antonio Rudiger (£6.0m), Andreas Christensen (£5.0m) and Ross Barkley (£5.6m) are also unavailable: “Rudiger won’t be ready for the weekend, but he’s getting closer. He’s outside training with us. Christensen is still out. Ross Barkley is out, not majorly out, just out, so hopefully fit for next week."
• Lampard has also spoken about the “nice problem” he has when it comes to Christian Pulisic (£7.1m): "The way he has played, he deserved a starting place regularly in the last few weeks - but so do others. It's a nice problem that I have. It's brilliant that he's coming on making an impact. He'll get his starts."

CRYSTAL PALACE

• After missing the clash against Man City last weekend, Hodgson has confirmed that both Vicente Guaita (£5.0m) and Martin Kelly (£4.1m) have recovered from their respective knocks and will be available for the weekend: "We'll see tomorrow but Vicente and Martin Kelly trained today, so as long as there's no reaction it means they'll be both available to be selected at the weekend."
• On the injury front, only Mamadou Sakho (£5.0m) and Conor Wickham (£4.5m) remain on the sidelines: "Mamadou Sakho is still out and Connor Wickham too."
• The manager was asked what Victor Camarasa (£4.7m) needs to do to get a starting spot: "He is competing for places in what we regard as an area where we are blessed with options. He has to keep working hard and show he is an option for us.” It would seem unlikely he’ll start this weekend.

EVERTON

• Following a four-game losing streak, Marco Silva rung the changes last time out with no fewer than five alterations for the match against West Ham. His team responded with a 2-0 victory and Silva may look to keep faith in many of the XI that helped snap that losing run.
• A number of the changes last time out were enforced as Fabian Delph (£5.4m) and Morgan Schneiderlin (£4.5m) missed out through injury, while Seamus Coleman (£5.4m) was suspended. All three are set to be available and Silva has welcomed the “good headache” he has when it comes to the players at his disposal.
• One player who he may be without though is centre-back Yerry Mina (£5.4m): “It’s not such good news at the moment. Of course, we have two more days until the game, so let's see how he is tomorrow and on matchday as well. It's not a serious, serious injury but it's something that until now hasn't put Yerry ready to work with the team in a full session.”
• If Mina is unavailable, then Mason Holgate (£4.4m) could be afforded a chance in the side: "He's prepared, he's ready. He's working hard to get his chance, he already did in two Carabao Cup matches. I'm 100% sure if he has the chance he will be ready to perform in his level."

LEICESTER

• Brendan Rodgers has confirmed James Maddison (£7.2m) will be fit to face Southampton on Friday night despite his troublesome ankle issues. With the return of Maddison, the manager has a fully-fit squad at his disposal for the match.
• Following a disappointing showing against Burnley last week, Ayoze Perez (£6.0m) could drop to the bench with one of Demarai Gray (£5.2m) or Marc Albrighton (£5.3m) coming in. Another option is to switch Maddison out to the left wing and bring Dennis Praet (£5.3m) into the middle of the park.

LIVERPOOL

• After missing the Champions League tie midweek through injury, Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.2m) is expect to be fit for the weekend match against Spurs: “Trent is fine. Or looked fine, if there is no setback. He was ill – ill enough to not travel with us, which is not a good sign, but yesterday he had a clearing session and if it is as it was yesterday then he should be fine.”
• Another who is expected to be available is Andrew Robertson (£6.9m), who was withdrawn during the midweek match against Genk as a precaution: “Yeah, we just rested Robbo,” Klopp explained at his pre-Tottenham press conference.
• The news was less clear over Joel Matip (£5.5m), who has been sidelined recently with a sore knee: “With Joel, we have to see. I didn’t see him yet. I don’t know 100 per cent.” If Matip is unavailable, Dejan Lovren (£5.3m) would be set to start.
• There are no concerns surrounding the fitness of Mo Salah (£12.4m) after the Egyptian played 90 minutes midweek.

MAN CITY

• Pep provided an injury update during his press conference on both Aleksandr Zinchenko (£5.4m) and Rodrigo (£5.5m). Zinchenko is due to be out for “between four and five weeks” while Rodrigo should return “after the international break”. Zinchenko’s absence would suggest Benjamin Mendy (£5.9m) will continue at left-back, though Joao Cancelo (£5.3m) is an option.
• The injury to Rodrigo is a particular blow as recently Pep has partnered the Spaniard and Fernandinho (£5.2m) in the centre of Man City’s defence. This injury will force a change that could result in one, or both, of John Stones (£5.3m) and Nicolas Otamendi (£5.6m) being brought into the starting XI. On selecting Stones, Guardiola has suggested he will not pick the Englishman until he is fully-fit: “It’s not about the first choice, it’s about being fit. He has had many injuries that’s why he couldn’t play.”
• There is still no news on the potential suspension of Bernardo Silva (£7.9m). Given he appears to be available for the weekend, and was rested for the midweek Champions League match against Atalanta, Bernardo could be afforded a start against Aston Villa.
• That start will likely come at the expense of either Raheem Sterling (£12.1m) or Riyad Mahrez (£8.6m). During his presser, Guardiola spoke in glowing terms about the form of the Englishman: “I didn’t help anything. All the credit is for him. We were there, we talk as a group. The quality is for everyone as a group, but the credit is for him and the rest of the players.”
• Up front, it will be one from Sergio Aguero (£12.2m) and Gabriel Jesus (£9.5m). Jesus started last weekend's match away to Palace, while Aguero played in the home midweek match vs Atalanta. The longer rest would potentially indicate Jesus will get the nod, however the trend this season is for Aguero to start at home and Jesus to start away. So far, Aguero has started every home Premier League match this season.
• Two players almost certain to start are Kevin De Bruyne (£10.1m) and David Silva (£7.6m). KDB was taken off early during the Champions League match against Atalanta, while David Silva was afforded a night sat on the bench.

MAN UTD

• Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke after the midweek Europa League tie about how the side have fallen into playing three at the back due to the injuries they have endured this season. He is happy though that the system is working well: "It’s just injuries have made us go into this position but it’s working quite well.” Given these words it looks like three at the back will be the formation of choice, at least for the time being.
• The likes of Marcus Rashford (£8.4m), Daniel James (£6.1m) and Andreas Pereira (£5.0m) were all rested on Thursday and are expected to be recalled to the starting XI. David de Gea (£5.5m) is another who didn’t play as he rested his troublesome groin issue.
• On the injury front, United are once again set to be without Paul Pogba (£8.4m), while the manager is still awaiting fitness updates on the likes of Nemanja Matic (£4.8m), Luke Shaw (£5.4m) and Axel Tuanzebe (£4.4m). On the plus side, Jesse Lingard (£6.3m) is once again fit after playing midweek.
• Anthony Martial (£7.5m) also made his return to the starting XI on Thursday and the manager spoke about the impact he hopes the Frenchman can have on the side moving forward: “Now Anthony is back, he got a goal, and I’m sure we’ll see us improve as a team with Anthony in the side. He does gives us something different.

NEWCASTLE

• While neither is serious, Steve Bruce has lost both Andy Carroll (£5.4m) and Fabian Schar (£4.5m) to injury this week. Carroll hasn’t troubled the starting line-up recently but Schar is likely to be replaced in the starting XI by Federico Fernandez (£4.4m): "They'll both miss tomorrow. They could be in contention for next week, we expect them not to be long-term."
• On a more positive note, both Florian Lejeune (£4.4m) and Matt Ritchie (£5.3m) are nearing a return from injury: "The good news is that Flo is close to a return and so is Matt Ritchie as well. He's bounced around the training ground all week."
• Isaac Hayden (£4.4m) will serve out the final match of his three-game suspension. As such, Matthew Longstaff (£4.5m) is expected to keep his place in the starting XI at least for one more week.

NORWICH

• Daniel Farke has confirmed that he has no new injury concerns ahead of the match against Man Utd. The list is still fairly long though as Grant Hanley (£4.0m), Timm Klose (£4.4m) and Christoph Zimmermann (£4.5m) all remain sidelined in addition to Ralf Fahrmann (£4.4m), who is set to miss the trip with a groin problem.
• Another player who does still require a little more time is midfielder Mario Vrancic (£6.2m): “Vrancic is on the way to recovering, but won't be involved on Sunday.”
• Though there were doubts over duo Onel Hernandez (£5.3m) and Tom Trybull (£4.5m), Farke has confirmed that both will be available for the match on Sunday: “Trybull was involved for 45 minutes in the last game, Hernandez was involved for a few. We still have to be careful with them. Hernandez did some additional individual stuff on Tuesday and his knee reacted a bit, but I'm pretty sure he'll be fit for this game.”

SHEFFIELD UTD

• Chris Wilder has declared that Sheffield Utd have no new injury concerns ahead of the match against West Ham. This means Lys Mousset (£4.9m), who looked to have been withdrawn Monday night with a knock, is fit for the weekend.
• Given the result, Wilder may choose to keep faith with the same XI that started the match against Arsenal. If any changes are to occur, they will most likely to be up front as the manager is not one to rotate the other nine unless he has too. Oliver McBurnie (£5.8m) will be pushing for a start, as will Callum Robinson (£5.3m), who didn’t see any action on Monday. Mousset may keep his position though, given he scored last week.
• On the chance of rotation, Wilder has said, "The hardest thing to do is to change a winning side but sometimes that's the right thing to do. I've got to look at the players, of course they will look for continuity and some people will think that's the right thing to do but I don't think it always is."

SOUTHAMPTON

• It’s as you were on the injury front for Southampton with the manager confirming that it’s "still the same," at the club. This means that both Cedric Soares (£4.8m) and Moussa Djenepo (£5.2m) remain the club's two absentees: “We cannot count on Moussa or Cédric at the moment. Moussa is back on the pitch. For a game it is too early, but we see light at the end of the tunnel.”
• Hassenhuttl reverted to a back three for the match against Wolves and may choose to stick with it given the side's much-improved performance. If the manager does want to give a slightly more attacking feel to his side, then Sofiane Boufal (£5.5m) could come into the team at the expense of Yan Valery (£4.8m), with James Ward-Prowse (£5.8m) moved over to the right-hand side of midfield.
• Hassenhuttl has once again spoken in glowing terms over the form of Danny Ings (£5.9m), who has three goals in his last three Premier League matches, and in particular over his fitness: "It comes to a point where he can really play over 90 minutes; that doesn't mean that I in three games a week, I think this is not the best idea. But in the moment he feels physically very well and he's able to play 90 minutes."

SPURS

• Maurico Pochettino has a near fully-fit squad at his disposal with only Hugo Lloris (£5.4m) set to be absent. Paulo Gazzaniga (£4.4m) should continue in goal.
• Spurs’ recent form has been mixed to say the least but the 5-0 hammering of Crvena zvezda showed what this team is capable of. The manager must decide whether to keep faith with the XI that produced that victory or bring some of the rested players back into the team for the trip to Anfield.
• The big decision will involve whether Toby Alderweireld (£5.5m) and Danny Rose (£5.4m) will come back into the starting XI. When asked about the pair's midweek absence, Pochettino said; “You know that always I try to rotate when we play a lot of games, different players we use. I haven't decide the starting 11 or the system we are going to use against Liverpool but tomorrow I will have clear ideas.”

WATFORD

• Quique Sanchez Flores has a shortage of options up front ahead of the match against Bournemouth as Danny Welbeck (£5.9m) has joined Troy Deeney (£6.2m) in the treatment room: “It’s bad news about Danny Welbeck, we need to check a little bit more and that will happen in the next weeks. I think it’s a hard injury but we need to wait a little bit.”
• In addition to Welbeck and Deeney, Watford will also be without Jose Holebas (£4.7m) who will miss the match through suspension after picking up his fifth booking of the season last time out. With Holebas unavailable, any one of Dimitri Foulquier (£4.0m), Adam Masina (£4.3m) or Kiko Femenia (£4.3m) could deputise.
• The manager could have a number of returnees available to him though as Isaac Success (£4.8m), Etienne Capoue (£4.8m), Sebastian Prodl (£4.0m) and Daryl Janmaat (£4.3m) have all returned to training this week. No update was provided on the fitness of winger Roberto Pereyra (£5.7m).

WEST HAM

• After missing the match against Everton with a knock, Aaron Cresswell (£5.0m) should come back into the starting line-up in place of Arthur Masuaku (£4.5m): "Compared with last weekend, Aaron Cresswell worked the whole week without any problems.”
• There is also good news on the fitness of long-term absentee Winston Reid (£3.9m) with the New Zealander looking like he’ll play for the u23’s this week as he continues to make his return to fitness. One player definitely still out though is Michail Antonio (£6.9m): “Winston Reid continued his recovery and will probably will play the next game with the u23s on Wednesday, and Antonio hasn't recovered - he has a long injury at the moment."
• The team have now lost two in two since Roberto (£4.4m) replaced long-term absentee Lukasz Fabianski (£5.0m). The manager was bullish in his support of the stand-in keeper; "I don't need him to make so many saves to demonstrate that he's a good goalkeeper. He has a good career behind him. I said before that I knew he was a good keeper."
• One player dropped to the bench last weekend was Ukrainian Andriy Yarmolenko (£6.0m). Given the toothless nature of West Ham’s attack last time out, he is likely to return either at the expense of either Felipe Anderson (£6.9m), who he replaced at half-time against Everton, or Pablo Fornals (£6.1m).

WOLVES

• Nuno Espirito Santo made a handful of changes for the midweek Europa League tie as Leander Dendoncker (£4.4m), Adama Traore (£5.1m), Ruben Neves (£5.4m), Jonny (£5.4m) and Ryan Bennett (£4.9m) were all left out of the starting XI. While the majority of these were tactical, Bennett was enforced through injury and for this reason the defender looks to be the least likely to earn a recall at the weekend.
• After starting last weekend on the bench, both Matt Doherty (£6.0m) and Diogo Jota (£6.1m) will be hopeful of a place in the starting XI this weekend. Doherty came on at half-time and grabbed an assist against Southampton, whilst Jota was sent off in Europe which should increase his chances of domestic minutes
