Liverpool's Sadio Mane (£12.0m) registered his third Premier League assist of the season in Gameweek 8, after winning a penalty which was converted by Mo Salah, as the Reds secured a hard fought 1-1 draw away at Man City. For Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.7m) however, there were no such attacking returns as the Arsenal captain and his side drew a blank in their 0-3 home defeat to Aston Villa.
Mane and a severely depleted Liverpool squad are preparing for the visit for Leicester in Gameweek 9 and with Mo Salah amongst the many players unavailable for the contest, the onus will be largely on Mane to come up with the attacking returns for the Reds in this contest. Arsenal travel to Leeds, who have conceded the joint most amount of goals in this season's Premier League thus far (17), which may play into the Gabonese international's hands. However, Aubameyang has proven a real let down so far this season and Mane's consistency in comparison is enough for us to give him the edge here.
