An early goal for Sheffield Utd in Gameweek 8 denied Reece James (£5.0m) his third successive clean sheet as part of the Chelsea backline, although the right-back has now racked up 16 FPL points over the course of the last three gameweeks. For Arsenal and Gabriel (£5.1m) though it was real misery. Whilst Chelsea went on to beat Sheffield Utd 4-1, the Gunners fell to a 0-3 humbling at home to Aston Villa.
Arsenal will be looking to bounce back away to Leeds in Gameweek 9. Chelsea on the other hand, face a Newcastle side potentially without star striker Callum Wilson due to injury. With Leeds having scored 14 goals already this season, you'd have to give James the edge in terms of clean sheet potential. His attacking threat down the right hand side only increases our belief that he is firmly the better FPL option here.
