FPL Gameweek 9 – head-to-head comparisons: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang vs Raheem Sterling

Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.7m) failed to build on his match winning penalty kick against Man Utd in Gameweek 7. The Gabonese international failed to make any sort of impact as the Gunners were comfortably beaten 0-3 by Aston Villa. Similarly making little attacking impact from an FPL perspective in Gameweek 8 was Raheem Sterling (£11.5m) as the Man City midfielder blanked in their 1-1 draw to Sterling's old team Liverpool.

Both will be hoping for much better in Gameweek 9, with Arsenal away to Leeds and Man City travelling to Spurs. Leeds have conceded the joint most amount of goals in this season's Premier League with 17. With Leeds' high line, a player like Aubameyang could be the type that suits playing a like them perfectly. With this in mind, we'd edge in favour of the Arsenal man here.
