FPL Gameweek 9 – head-to-head comparisons: Mo Salah vs Kevin De Bruyne

A fourth penalty of the season for Mo Salah (£12.4m) saw him pick up nine FPL points in Gameweek 7 as Liverpool played out a hard fought 1-1 draw with Man City at the Etihad Stadium. The same game saw Kevin De Bruyne (£11.5m) gain an assist for City, but missed a penalty of his own to only pick up three FPL points. De Bruyne now has 27 FPL points this season compared to Salah's 67, albeit the Egyptian has played more minutes.

Gameweek 9 sees Liverpool host Leicester, whilst Man City take on Spurs in North London. Salah at Anfield has proven himself as a formidable FPL asset and with De Bruyne facing a difficult opponent and a question mark perhaps hovering over whether he will take the next Man City penalty after his miss in Gameweek 8, we're siding with the man who has racked up 35 FPL points so far this season in just four home games.
