FPL Gameweek 9 – head-to-head comparisons: Jack Grealish vs Wilfried Zaha

An assist for both Aston Villa's Jack Grealish (£7.5m) and Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha (£7.4m) continued what has been a fantastic season for both midfielders so far. Grealish now has four goals and six assists after eight gameweeks, whilst Zaha has five goals and two assists and is clearly benefitting from being deployed as part of a front two by Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson.

Grealish faces Brighton at Villa Park and Zaha is away at Burnley in Gameweek 9. Zaha has fond memories of facing the Clarets at Turf Moor, scoring against them in their last two visits to Burnley with both games ending in Crystal Palace victories. Grealish, however has a good record against Brighton having scored in both games against the Seagulls last season. Brighton have conceded a couple more goals than Burnley this season and with Grealish having registered three of his four league goals and five of his six league assists at Villa Park, this sees us lean towards him.
