Both these two midfielders come into Gameweek 9 in great form from both a personal and an FPL perspective. Aston Villa's Jack Grealish (£7.5m) has already racked up four goals and six assists this season, picking up 21 FPL points in the last two gameweeks alone. Chelsea's Hakim Ziyech (£8.2m) in the same time period has accrued 25 FPL points with one goal and three assists in the only two league matches he has started this season due to injury.
Aston Villa host Brighton in Gameweek 9 and Chelsea make the long trip to Newcastle. Brighton are an opponent that Grealish relished playing against last season, as he scored in both league fixtures against the Seagulls. Picking up more FPL points than Ziyech will be a big ask when you consider the Moroccan is yet to blank when starting for the Blues in the Premier League thus far. However, Grealish being priced at £0.7m cheaper with his current attacking returns makes him slightly more enticing value wise, so for that reason we're plumping for the England international.
