As each gameweek progresses, these two Chelsea full-backs look more and more dangerous going forward. Ben Chilwell (£6.0m) bagged his second goal in Chelsea colours in Gameweek 8, picking up eight FPL points as the Blues comfortably dispatched of Sheffield Utd 4-1. That goal for the Blades however, denied Reece James (£5.0m) any significant FPL points of his own, although before this match the right-back had acquired 14 FPL points from the last two gameweeks.
Chelsea travel to Newcastle in Gameweek 9 and Frank Lampard's will be confident of not just another win, but also a fourth clean sheet in six games with the Magpies possibly without star striker Callum Wilson through injury. Going forward, both Chilwell and James provide huge danger and some would argue that James provides better value due to his cheaper price. However, Chilwell's spot in the side is nailed, whereas James is liable to be rotated at any point with club captain Cesar Azpilicueta waiting in the wings. For that reason alone, we are playing it safe here and plumping for Chilwell.
