Despite Man Utd's 1-3 win over Everton in Gameweek 8, Anthony Martial (£8.7m) remains without a Premier League goal so far this season. The Frenchman has missed three gameweeks this season due to suspension, whilst Gabriel Jesus (£9.3m) has missed five gameweeks due to injury. However, Jesus has made up for that by netting in the two gameweeks in which he has featured in for Man City.

Martial and Man Utd host lowly West Brom in Gameweek 9 with the Baggies having conceded the joint most amount of Premier League goals this season with 17 shipped by Slaven Bilic's men. Man City travel to Spurs, which on paper is a tougher fixture but Jesus is in better form. Taking into account Martial's fixture and cheaper price-tag, it's the Frenchman that represents the better value pick here despite his lesser form. The international break may prove the tonic needed for Martial to come back fit and firing from both a personal and FPL perspective.

Verdict: Anthony Martial
