Fulham's Aleksandar Mitrovic (£5.7m) is going through a tough spell at present with the forward having not scored since all the way back in Gameweek 2. He did gain two assists in Gameweek 7 and those have been his only attacking returns since those goals. Patrick Bamford (£6.1m) meanwhile, has been on fire for Leeds all season long, scoring seven goals so far this season, including most recently away to Crystal Palace in Gameweek 8.
Fulham host Everton in Gameweek 9, whilst Leeds welcome Arsenal to Elland Road. Whilst Mitrovic is the cheaper price, Bamford has by far the superior form and plays for a team who has scored 14 goals compared to Fulham's seven. This makes choosing between the two forwards fairly straightforward, with Bamford fully worth the extra cost.
