Two full-backs fall under the microscope here as Aaron Cresswell (£5.1m) and Patrick van Aanholt (£5.4m) both provided returns for their respective FPL owners in Gameweek 8. Cresswell's West Ham kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 win over Fulham, giving him six FPL points. Crystal Palace may not have kept a clean sheet, but van Aanholt did register an assist to bring home five FPL points.
Gameweek 9 sees West Ham away to Sheffield Utd, whilst Crystal Palace travel to Burnley. Both these opponents are struggling at present, with Sheffield Utd scoring just four goals so far this season and Burnley having failed to score in their last four Premier League games. The Clarets in particular have looked worryingly toothless and when you take into van Aanholt's attack threat, he could be set for a big haul in Gameweek 9. Its a close call, but we're siding with the Dutch international here.
