FPL Gameweek 8 – head-to-head comparisons: Trent Alexander-Arnold vs Andy Robertson

Questions are starting to be asked over the two Liverpool full-backs with a premium price as their recent FPL returns have been anything but premium. Both Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.4m) and Andy Robertson (£7.1m) have the frustrated in recent weeks, the former in particular with Liverpool's set piece specialist picking up just four FPL points over the last four gameweeks. Robertson has faired slightly better, but his returns have non the less not justified his weight price tag in the last couple of weeks.

Liverpool travel to Man City in Gameweek 8 and against a side with such attacking talent, both Alexander-Arnold and Robertson don't appeal highly from an FPL perspective defensively. However, both stand a decent chance of attacking returns and with Alexander-Arnold on most free kicks and corners, he gets the nod for us over Robertson.
