Two Chelsea midfield assets come under the microscope in this head-to-head. Both Kai Havertz (£8.4m) and Hakim Ziyech (£8.0m) started in Gameweek 7. However, it was the latter who shone by getting himself on the scoresheet and picking up an assist as Chelsea brushed aside Burnley 0-3 at Turf Moor. Whilst Ziyech picked up 14 FPL points for his efforts, Havertz failed to register an attacking return earning just three FPL points in comparison.
Gameweek 8 sees the Blues host struggling Sheffield Utd and both Havertz and Ziyech will be expected to start once again. Havertz has yet to register a double figure points haul despite starting every league game so far this season. Ziyech in comparison managed it in his first start. When added to the fact that he is priced at £0.4m cheaper than Havertz, it's clear that Ziyech is the correct pick here.
