FPL Gameweek 8 – head-to-head comparisons: Jack Grealish vs Pablo Fornals

It was the late late show for Jack Grealish (£7.3m) in Gameweek 7. The Aston Villa midfielder had registered an assist as his side trailed for 1-4 at home to Southampton. However, Grealish delighted his FPL owners in second half stoppage time with a second assist and a goal, giving him a total of 15 FPL points despite his side losing 3-4. Despite a tough fixture, Pablo Fornals (£6.4m) managed to acquire 10 FPL points from Gameweek 7, after finding the net in West Ham's 2-1 defeat away at Liverpool.

Grealish and Aston Villa face a tough away trip to Arsenal in Gameweek 8 with the Gunners coming off the back of victory away at Man Utd last weekend. West Ham host Fulham and Fornals will be confident of adding to his scoring tally against the Whites. When taking into account the respective difficulty of the two fixtures along with the prices of both midfielders, Fornals as the cheaper as asset and with the better fixture on paper gets the nod from us here.
