Another gameweek, another attacking return for Harry Kane (£10.9m). At this stage no one is surprised by the England international who is the joint highest scoring FPL asset so far this season, with six goals, eight assists and a whopping 71 FPL points. He opened the scoring with a penalty in a 2-1 for Spurs over Brighton. Timo Werner (£9.3m) may be trailing behind with just 36 FPL points, but the German showed glimpses of his quality in Gameweek 7, scoring for Chelsea in their 0-3 victory away to Burnley. The onus is now on Werner to go on a scoring run and drag himself up the FPL points chart.

Kane will be looking to continue his hot streak in Gameweek 8, with West Brom the opposition at the Hawthorns. Werner and Chelsea host Sheffield Utd at Stamford Bridge, so both fixtures look enticing. Despite Werner's far cheaper price, it really is impossible to look beyond Kane here. Currently owned by over 43% of FPL managers, to not own the Spurs star could prove extremely detrimental to your rank if as expected, Kane picks up at least one attacking return against the Baggies.

Verdict: Harry Kane
