FPL Gameweek 8 – head-to-head comparisons: Dominic Calvert-Lewin vs Raul Jimenez

Despite Everton going down 2-1 away to Newcastle, Toffees forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.7m) still managed to score his eighth Premier League goal this season, acquiring eight FPL points in the process. However, despite Wolves registering a comfortable 2-0 win over Crystal Palace at Molineux, there was no attacking involvement from star striker Raul Jimenez (£8.5m) who disappointed his owners by picking up just two FPL points.

Jimenez will hope for better in Gameweek 8 as Wolves face Leicester at the King Power Stadium, whilst Everton welcome Man Utd to Goodison Park. As was the case against Newcastle, this is another fixture in which Calvert-Lewin found the net last season and the England international will feel confident of a repeat performance here. Add that to his price being £0.8m cheaper than Mexican star Jimenez and we have enough reason to side with Calvert-Lewin in this head-to-head.
