They faced off in Gameweek 6, but in the end neither Kai Havertz (£8.4m) nor Marcus Rashford (£9.5m) could influence the result for their respective sides as Man Utd and Chelsea played out a drab 0-0 draw at Old Trafford. In fact, it got worse for any FPL manager who owned either of the two, with both getting booked and hence picking up just two FPL points from the fixture, as the extra point gained for a clean sheet was wiped out by the yellow card.
Gameweek 7 sees Chelsea travel to Burnley, whilst Man Utd host Arsenal in what was once seen as the biggest grudge match in the Premier League years ago in the days of Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger. Rashford has a very poor record against the Gunners, having not scored against them since way back in February 2016. When you also take into account his price being £1.1m cheaper than that of Havertz, we have to edge towards the German international, who represents far better value for his price in this particular gameweek.
