FPL Gameweek 7 – head-to-head comparisons: Daniel James vs Harry Wilson

Tough times for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his young Man Utd team at the moment, and injuries are not helping their cause. Marcus Rashford is the latest to pick up a knock to join Anthony Martial as doubtful for Gameweek 7, which puts more pressure on Welsh wing wizard Daniel James (£6.2m). On one hand, it will ensure the youngster will start but the lack of quality options around him reduces his and United’s attacking threat.

A player in the same price bracket as James that may be a better option this week is Bournemouth’s own Welsh wing wizard in Harry Wilson (£6.1m). He is their top-scoring midfielder on 23 points – two points less than James but Wilson did not play the opening game. His points per game ratio is strong and even better when you consider the fact he has only played 60+ minutes on three occasions. He is quickly earning Eddie Howe’s trust and he is an attractive option at home against West Ham this gameweek.

Verdict: Harry Wilson
