Chelsea's German midfield star Kai Havertz (£8.4m) recorded his first ever Premier League goal at the fifth time of asking at the weekend, as he netted the third goal for the Blues in their 3-3 draw against Southampton. Whilst fellow midfielder Christian Pulisic (£8.3m) recorded his first league start of the season in the same game, Chelsea's attacking winger failed to register an attacking return, picking up just two FPL points, compared to Havertz's seven.
Both will be eager to take advantage of previous defensive frailties shown by Man Utd at Old Trafford this season, as they visit the Red Devils in Gameweek 6. With Havertz and Pulisic expected to start, we find little to choose between the two from an FPL perspective in this particular fixture. Therefore, we're edging towards Pulisic purely due to the American international's slightly cheaper price giving us more value in our team to strengthen elsewhere.
Verdict: Christian Pulisic
