FPL Gameweek 6 – head-to-head comparisons: Gareth Bale vs Bruno Fernandes
Gareth Bale (£9.5m) did not have the return he would have hoped for Spurs in Gameweek 5. After coming on as a sub at 3-0, not only did it finish 3-3, but Bale also missed a sitter to secure certain victory. Bruno Fernandes (£10.5m) surprised everyone after missing a penalty for Man Utd, but he still made up for it with a goal and an assist as the Red Devils won 1-4 at Newcastle.
Gameweek 6 sees Bale and Spurs travel to Burnley whilst Fernandes and Man Utd host Chelsea. Bale did start for Spurs in the Europa League midweek, however he is likely to start from the bench against the Clarets, making Fernandes the safe choice here.
