FPL Gameweek 6 – head-to-head comparisons: Emiliano Martinez vs Ederson
Both these keepers kept clean sheets in Gameweek 5, picking up 16 FPL points between them. Emiliano Martinez (£4.8m) made five saves and accrued nine FPL points in Aston Villa's 0-1 win away at Leicester. He is currently the highest scoring keeper in FPL this season with 31 points. Ederson (£6.0m) meanwhile, recorded three saves and seven FPL points in Man City's 1-0 victory over Arsenal.
Gameweek 6 sees Martinez's Villa host Leeds, whilst Ederson's Man City travel to West Ham. The Hammers are full of goals at present, having scored ten in their last three league games, whilst Leeds failed to score in Gameweek 5, losing 0-1 at home to Wolves. With Villa looking so strong at the back having only conceded twice so far in the Premier League this season, we're plumping for Martinez in this head-to-head.
Verdict: Emiliano Martinez
