FPL Gameweek 5 – head-to-head comparisons: Trent Alexander-Arnold vs Andrew Robertson
Humiliation was in order for Liverpool in Gameweek 4 and for full-backs Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m) and Andrew Robertson (£7.0m) it was misery not only for them, but for their swathes of FPL owners. An astounding 7-2 defeat away at Aston Villa saw the two defenders end up with scores of minus one for the gameweek.
Gameweek 6 will see both desperate to bounce back as Liverpool travel across the city to face Everton in the Merseyside derby. With little to choose between the two from an FPL perspective, we're taking matters outside of football into account. With the news that three Scottish internationals have tested positive for Covid-19, there may be a chance that Robertson could have been exposed to the virus himself. For that reason we're playing it safe and plumping with Alexander-Arnold in this head-to-head.
