Two forwards set to link up for England during the international break come under the spotlight here. Harry Kane (£10.6m) has been in excellent form for Spurs, having scored three goals and registered six assists in his first four Premier League games this season, racking up 44 FPL points. However, whilst Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.6m) has not accrued as many FPL points, with an impressive 37 to his name so far this campaign, the Everton forward leads Kane in the scoring charts having bagged six goals in his first four league games.

Both players face local derbies in Gameweek 5, with Spurs hosting West Ham and Everton welcoming Liverpool to Goodison Park. On paper, the fixtures clearly appear in Kane's favour. However, dig a little deeper and that doesn't appear the case. Liverpool were a shambles defensively in their 7-2 humbling away at Aston Villa in Gameweek 4 and with second choice goalkeeper Adrian set to deputise once again in net with Alisson injured, Calvert-Lewin has be licking his lips at the prospect of scoring in a Merseyside derby. Priced at £3.0m cheaper than Kane, he represents by far the better value in this head-to-head.

Verdict: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
