FPL Gameweek 4 – head-to-head comparisons: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang vs Sergio Aguero

Gameweek 3 saw the return of Sergio Aguero (£12.0m) to full fantasy relevance with a brace against Bournemouth and 90 minutes played. It was only the second times in Aguero’s last 16 Premier League matches that he has completed 90 minutes and this was mainly due to the hamstring injury suffered by Gabriel Jesus (£9.5m). The injury should see the Argentinian have a clear run as the starting forward for at least the GW4 match against Brighton and possibly longer depending on its severity. While both Aguero and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.0m) have recorded attacking returns in each of their opening three matches, it is hard to look past the Argentinian given his tasty fixture.

Verdict: Sergio Aguero
