FPL Gameweek 4 – head-to-head comparisons: Kai Havertz vs James Maddison
Gameweek 3 saw Chelsea come from 3-0 behind to draw 3-3 away at newly promoted West Brom, with summer signing Kai Havertz (£8.4m) registering an assist, his first attacking return in the Premier League. Meanwhile, James Maddison (£7.0m) made quite the impact from the bench, scoring and assisting once as Leicester stunned Man City, beating them 2-5 at the Etihad Stadium.
Gameweek 4 sees Chelsea host Crystal Palace whilst Leicester are at home to West Ham. It is expected that Maddison will make his first start for the Foxes in this game and considering that Leicester have scored 12 goals in their opening three league games, Maddison has to be favoured over Havertz from an FPL perspective, especially considering his £1.4m cheaper price tag.
