FPL Gameweek 4 – head-to-head comparisons: James Rodriguez vs Harvey Barnes
Neither of these two midfielders registered an attacking return in Gameweek 3. However, that doesn't change the fact that both James Rodriguez (£7.7m) and Harvey Barnes (£7.0m) have enjoyed strong starts to this season's Premier League. Both have one goal and one assist to their names already and will be looking to add to that in Gameweek 4.
Everton host Brighton this weekend, with the Seagulls having conceded six goals in their opening three league games, whilst Leicester welcome West Ham to the King Power Stadium. The potential absence of Leicester forward Jamie Vardy could affect Barnes' output in this fixture, as without Vardy to worry about, he may come in for closer attention from the Hammers defence. Rodriguez meanwhile, looked imperious in his last league game at Goodison Park and with Brighton no doubt focused on stopping in-form striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, the Colombian star could be set to take advantage of any extra space afforded to him here.
