Both these two FPL midfielders have made fantastic starts to the season so far for their clubs and carried that into Gameweek 2. Wilfried Zaha (£7.1m) has been deployed largely as a striker so far for Crystal Palace this season and that tactic worked to perfection against Man Utd, with Zaha scoring twice in a 1-3 win for the Eagles at Old Trafford. James Rodriguez (£7.5m) opened his account for Everton and added an assist for good measure in their 5-2 victory at home to West Brom. The Colombian international picked up 12 FPL points from the gameweek compared to Zaha's 15.
Gameweek 3 sees these two stars lock horns as Everton travel to Selhurst Park. With both sides having won their opening two fixtures, we could see a cagey game with a point perhaps seen as a satisfactory result for each team. However, in a tight game, we'd plump for Zaha's pace and trickery to perhaps make the difference through either a goal or an assist, as he looks to prove a point against the side who have reportedly been after his signature for most of the summer.
Verdict: Wilfried Zaha
