Both these flying full-backs were on the winning side in Gameweek 2. Although whilst Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m) gained 7 FPL points in Liverpool's 0-2 win against Chelsea, Kyle Walker (£6.0m) and Man City conceded in their victory over Wolves, which lost the England international any clean sheet points.

Home fixtures await both defenders in Gameweek 3, with Liverpool facing Arsenal and Man City playing Leicester. Whilst Alexander-Arnold runs the rule over set pieces, Walker is by far the cheaper option. However, the attacking prowess of Alexander-Arnold for us is a bigger pull and not owning the Liverpool man could prove disastrous.

Verdict: Trent Alexander-Arnold
