FPL Gameweek 3 – head-to-head comparisons: Timo Werner vs Roberto Firmino
Timo Werner (£9.5m) should have had his second successive FPL assist by virtue of winning a penalty for his side in Gameweek 2. However, the penalty was missed and Werner suffered a blank in Chelsea's 0-2 defeat to Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. In the same game, Roberto Firmino (£9.4m) registered an assist for the Reds although he is still looking for his first Premier League goal of the season.
Werner's Chelsea travel to the Hawthorns to face newly promoted West Brom this weekend, whilst Liverpool and Firmino host Arsenal at Anfield. Whilst Werner hasn't scored a league goal yet this season, he has looked dangerous and with West Brom having conceded eight goals in their first two league games, the German looks the more enticing FPL prospect here in Gameweek 3.
