FPL Gameweek 3 – head-to-head comparisons: Reece James vs Romain Saiss

Both these two defenders who enjoyed a stellar Gameweek 1, were less successful in Gameweek 2. Reece James (£5.1m) and Chelsea were on the end of a 0-2 loss to Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. Whilst Romain Saiss (£5.1m) and Wolves fought valiantly, but went down 1-3 at home to Man City.

Both players are away from home in Gameweek 3, with Chelsea travelling to West Brom and Wolves away at West Ham. Whilst James provides more potential for attacking returns due his full-back position compared to Saiss in central defence, he is more liable to lose a clean sheet due to Chelsea's goalkeeping troubles. With that in mind, we're edging towards Saiss here.
