FPL Gameweek 3 – head-to-head comparisons: Mo Salah vs Sadio Mane
Both Mo Salah (£12.1m) and Sadio Mane (£11.9m) have taken it in turns to score the goals for Liverpool in the first two gameweeks of the season. Gameweek 1 saw Salah score a hat-trick in their 4-3 win over Leeds, whilst Gameweek 2 saw Mane at the double, as the Reds defeated 10-man Chelsea 0-2. Already the two midfielders have 41 FPL points between them this season.
Gameweek 3 sees Liverpool host Arsenal at Anfield, a fixture which on paper will suit Salah. The Egyptian has always scored the bulk of his league goals at Anfield and scored twice in this fixture last season. He is priced at £0.2m more expensive than Mane, but when you consider his stats at home compared to that of his Senegalese teammate, it's a price worth paying to have him in your team for Gameweek 3.
