Mo Salah (£12.1m) couldn't follow up his hat-trick in Gameweek 1, with another big haul in Gameweek 2 despite Liverpool's 0-2 win away at Chelsea. The Egyptian only picked up three FPL points compared to the 20 he acquired the week before. Heung-Min Son (£9.0m) however, joined Salah in club of players who have accrued monster hauls in the 2020-21 season already. The South Korean scoring four times, gaining a mammoth 24 FPL points in the 2-5 win for Spurs over Southampton in Gameweek 2.
Salah looks set to bounce back from a personal perspective in Gameweek 3 as Liverpool return to Anfield to face Arsenal. Salah scored twice in this fixture last season and the stats point to him being a far more potent goalscorer at home than away. Whilst Son is in red-hot form, a more defensive Newcastle may provide a tough test for him than Southampton and their defensively suicidal high line, therefore Salah gets the nod for us in this one.
