Roberto Firmino (£9.7m) may have started in Gameweek 28, whilst Gabriel Jesus (£9.5m) didn't feature at all due to Man City's involvement in the Carabao Cup final. However, the Liverpool man failed to make an impact after Liverpool were stunned by Watford, losing 3-0 to the Hornets. Firmino now hasn't scored for the Reds in the Premier League since Gameweek 24.
Liverpool will look to bounce back at home to Bournemouth in Gameweek 29, whilst Man City face a big Manchester derby at Old Trafford against Man Utd. Whilst Jesus would be the more attractive prospect if we could guarantee that he would start, we're predicting Liverpool to respond in a big way after defeat and with Firmino more assured of a start, we favour him here.
