FPL Gameweek 28 – head-to-head comparisons: Romain Saiss vs Phil Bardsley

Both Romain Saiss (£4.5m) of Wolves and Phil Bardsley (£4.3m) of Burnley kept clean sheets in Gameweek 27. Both also picked up assists as Saiss accrued 11 FPL points against Norwich, whilst Barnsley gained 10 FPL points vs Bournemouth. Saiss in particular has impressed recently, having accumulated 23 FPL points from his last three gameweeks.

Wolves are away to an injury-depleted Spurs in Gameweek 28, which gives Saiss a strong chance of securing yet another Premier League clean sheet. Bardsley's Burnley travel to St. James' Park to face a Newcastle side who have not scored in their last three Premier League matches. There is very little separating the two, but we'd edge towards Saiss purely due to his attacking threat from set pieces.
