Liverpool full-back Andrew Robertson (£7.0m) brought home 4 FPL points from Gameweek 27 despite conceding two goals, as he provided an assist for Mo Salah's goal in a 3-2 win for the Reds over West Ham. Marcus Alonso (£6.0m) however went one better for Chelsea, scoring in a 2-1 win against local rivals Spurs, accruing 8 FPL points in the process.
Liverpool travel to Watford in Gameweek 28, whilst Chelsea face a trip to Bournemouth. Whilst Alonso may be a full £1.0m cheaper than Robertson, the Liverpool left-back is guaranteed to start and as part of a defence who have kept 10 clean sheets in their last 12 Premier League games, he is the straightforward choice in this head-to-head.
Verdict: Andrew Robertson
